New Delhi, Aug 13 (IANS) Shadab Faridi, the soulful voice behind "Tu hi haqeeqat" song, has been roped in to sing for the sequel of 2010 blockbuster "Dabangg".
"As a singer I feel very lucky that I get a chance to be part of Salman Khan upcoming movie. As a Sufi singer it is great to be work with Bollywood Khans," Shadab, who was a contestant on music reality show "Music Ka Maha Muqabla", said in a statement.
Shadab has previously sung for the films like "Rann", "Jodi Breakers" and "Agent Vinod".
He had also sung for one of the episodes of Aamir's Khan's "Satymev Jayate".
"Dabangg 2" will see Salman Khan and Sonakashi Sinha reprising their roles while the new addition to the cast in actor Prakash Raj.
'Joker', declared clean family entertainer
Filmmaker Shirish Kunder's upcoming film "Joker" has been passed by the censor board with U certificate.
"#JOKER Update: Censor gives 'U' Certificate with no cuts. Calls it a clean family entertainer they have seen in a long time," Kunder tweeted.
The film, slated for a Aug 31 release, also features Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade and Minissha Lamba.
Bipasha breaks 'driving' promise
Actress Bipasha Basu has been vowing to learn driving every year but hasn't been able to do it so far.
"I promise myself every year that I will learn to drive and never keep it! Don't like being dependent like this! Grrrr! Soon!" Bipasha tweeted.
Meanwhile, the actress is busy shooting for her new film "Aatma", being directed by Suparn Verma.
