Melbourne, Oct 10 (ANI): Australians have some weird hotel habits, which includes running naked in the hotel corridors and sneaking friends inside their rooms for a party, a survey has revealed.
The survey by Zuji.com.au found that a quarter of Australians admitted to having stripped off and run around a hotel corridor nude, News.com.au reported.
While, 40 percent of Australians confessed to sneaking their friends and family inside their hotel room for a party.
James Gaskell, Managing Director of Zuji Australia and APAC, revealed that the middle-aged guests were the most likely to misbehave.
"Surprisingly, the naughtiest age group we found were those aged 45-55," Gaskell said.
"The results of our survey consistently showed that this demographic was the most likely to have done a 'nudie run' and hold room parties," he said.
Meanwhile, 70 percent admitted that they were baffled by the hotel showers and took about 10 minutes to figure out how to turn them on.
31 percent said early checkouts were the most unpleasant thing about staying in a hotel, while 26 percent complained about breakfast finishing too early.
The survey also revealed, that 70 percent admitted taking "abnormally" long showers in hotels.
And lastly 63 percent guests admitted asking the receptionist for a spare key so they could leave the air conditioning in their room on while they went out. (ANI)
