Sahara parts ways with BCCI, withdraws from IPL

really do not understand why corporates pour money into cricket that money is spoiling the sprit of cricket .let the players plaay for india without expecting any reward then only indian cricket will improve .selfless service to cricket (all type sport)

A good decision. Too much money is the root cause of all ills in cricket controlled by a group of money makers in BCCI.

Its a Gujarati / Marwari ( current bosses of BCCI ) vs Bengali ( Subrata Roy / Sahara ) issue. The former took Sahara's money for 11 years but never let him into the inner circle / fat profit from various deals.

Spending for cricket anymore will be not worth as it use to be. B'cos the faith of the public is diminishing day by day due BCCI's greed to make money. In the process the spirit of the game, the health of the players, interest of the genuine sponsors, and long term perspective are all compromised. BCCI's arrogance coming from money power is sooner or later going to end. Already various Cricketing Bodies across the world have raised the flags against BCCI. Its only a matter of time now.

Sahara should help poor instead of supporting self centered cricketers

Sahara India should sponsor other games for their improvement.

All the companies should with draw sponsorship and crush BCCI to save poor peoples' money

Cricket has become business and money over a decade.For the sponsors it is time to look for other games and players.

The BCCI has always been very arrogant, totaliatrian, autocratic, dictatorial and condescending. Every body has to bow before them.Their role shd be limited to admini- stration. How can they declare themselves rulers?Govt shd step in and supersede them...

Sponsor other sports like Hockey, Kabadi, Shuttle or Chess or in the field of rural/urban poor education, adopt some of the poorest villages in Selected areas, where political corruption cannot overtake your genuineness in doing good for the country and its people.

Wise decision by chairman of sahara group as the money can be used for good social causes and developing other sports rather than waste money with bcci and its cronies.

Cricket does not need any sponsors. It was nothing but wastage of money. Only BCCI and players were getting richer. IPL is nothing but game of black money. There is so much to be done for the country, but these people money is just showered on the players. Govt should ban the IPL. This game is invented by west to loot again this country.

One should ban IPL. Team winning or defeating gets money by fixing. Its all public money. cricketers will eran much from IPL than they for national cricket. Due IPL cost of the products increasing day by day and the cost of living.

Now Sahara should help other sports like Soccar, hockey, tennis and field and track. India has very good sports persons. But they lack encouragement. Hope, Sahara will help these young future champions. It is good that Sahara has parted with BCCI.
