Review: Samsung Galaxy Note

Many people are already confused whether to buy a smartphone or a tablet. Samsung has added to that confusion with its Galaxy Note.

Samsung Galaxy Note has been positioned in such a way that it falls right between a smartphone and a tablet, offering the functionality of both.

Galaxy Note sports a 5.3 inch HD Super Amoled display.

It's a stretched version of Samsung Galaxy S2 but offers far greater functionality than the smartphone.

many have commented that the Note is expensive. Compare the cost with the cost of i phones 4 & 4S or even similar HTC phones.

  Hey SAMSUNG is not like maruti...so dont giv dis kinda cmmnts...SAMSUNG has many innovative products...but I do agree SAMSUNG z for Mass n iPhone for Class..bt not d HTC...apart frm dis SAMSUNG is no-way behind than APPLE in-terms of Performance, Quality n Ease f use..wat else we need more...SAMSUNG z d only Touchscreen SMARTPHONE maker who dare to gave a strong challenge 2 APPLE..n they also outplayed APPLE...go by recent figures...

  Yes its true apple doesnt make its parts it buys from samsung(internal hardware),lg*screen) and sony(camera).

I have been using Galaxy Note for 6 weeks now. It is amazing. Initially, I had some apprehensions about voice calls. Even that is no problem once you get used to it. It is so thin that it does not cause any difficulty holding it during calls. Laptops were portable compared with PCs; Tabs are even more portable than Laptops; Galaxy Note beats them all in that that it can be always with you in your pocket, to help you in voice calls and browsing. Polaris office that is bundled with the software in Note, makes your life with word, excel and power point easier, allowing you to edit as well. With such a nice camera on Note, I do not carry my point and shoot cameras any more (except DSLRs). Battery is very decent - It lasts almost 24 hours with about 2 to 3 hrs of browsing coupled with other uses. You have some free battery saving apps as well in the android market. Someone has complained about poor battery life upon 6 hrs wifi coupled browsing - even many tabs and laptops fail upon such usage. I will recommend it to anyone without an iota of hesitation.

good phone easy to carry. strange thing is cheap in India 400 pounds but cosylt in UK 600 Pounds. just love it

YARO MAI LAST 1 MONTHS SE USE KAR RAHA HU, BUT SALA BATTERY 10 HRS MAI DHUSHHHH.... only battery back up is very low need to charge twice a day on only average usage not a heavy use...Rest of features are fantastic...Gaurantee meri, Vishwash Aap Ka ..lolz

  If you are using internet, then disable it by unchecking "use packet data" when you are not using it. This way, the battery will last for more than 24 hrs.

If you want to use net on move I recommend this. No hitches, smooth functions, battery lasts for one day on full charge. It is one in all. Best thing is it works with all service providers, you can use third party software. So nice.
