MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin presented President Dmitry Medvedev on Monday with his proposed new cabinet line-up after taking over as premier last week, Russian television reported.

State television showed Putin telling Medvedev at a meeting that the list would include new names. No time was given for when it would become public.

"As we agreed, the necessary documents concerning the structure of the government and the personal appointments of the deputies of the prime minister and federal ministers are ready," state television showed Putin saying to Medvedev.

"I would ask you to look (at them) and if necessary let's go through them together considering the fact that there are new names".

Medvedev replied that he would approve all necessary decisions because the two men had been working on the government structure together for the past two months.

Putin and Medvedev were due to meet cabinet ministers at 1430 local time (1030 GMT). In Russia, the prime minister proposes names to the president, who must approve them before they are final.
