Reunion 2012--YEY OH YELL

Good ideas are common – what’s uncommon are people who’ll work hard enough to bring them about.- Ashleigh Brilliant
It all started when 5 of them met over a beer and nonchalantly discussed the yesteryears, the days when they worked at their former companies, the ones they presently slog at, and just like that in their chitchat conceived an intriguing concept. They started to wonder what if they could reconnect with past colleagues and make networking a celebratory bridge to their flickering idea drenched in potential of renovating a reunion. Their experimental approach to expanded networking has  now grown into a viral fire of thoughts and actions; the consequence- an explosion on social media website with the creation of an Event that would change the way people ever thought about reunions, the creation of  Unofficial Reunion 2012--YEY OH YELL where you eat-drink-celebrate-network and reconnect. Are YOU in the loop?
The concept of the unofficial reunion works positively in this day and age as it is powerful and effective in its endeavor to strengthen old contacts and form new ones. The opportunities at such an event is incessant, making it for an inspiring event that should definitely be repeated and yet it's surprising why companies have not yet leveraged the power of their lost network. Companies can leverage from such a reunion, as it celebrates a commonality where you can reconnect with friends and colleagues and add value by establishing growth through connectedness with a broadened approach to networking.
When opting between the official and unofficial, the latter appeared more alluring as it broke apart from the norm of corporate policies and everything that came attached with it. Unofficial resonated a sense of relaxation and fun, promising to be engaging while taking networking to an entirely fresh and immense level. Most people are accustomed to the obligatory and customary company events.  The business events are patently business oriented revolving around business and targets. Then there are the annual company events, indisputably fun but allowing no room or opportunity for networking. The limitations of both these types of events sparked the motivation for reinventing and elevating the concept of an unofficial reunion. It is not organized by a company, but rather organized by passionate people, who have used the logistics of networking in a progressive way.
From the moment the idea was conceived, one of them imagined its power and decided to execute it for an experiment.. What would otherwise be planned for 30 people was then planned for 100. Sooner than anyone could fathom, it grew to 300 and now there is no stopping it from growing further. An organizing team is in place to address the challenges and put the logistics for such an event in place. Some companies understood the power of such an event and got involved as partner, allowing the organizing team the space to shift the focus from large to very large.
The people, the connectors have proven the concept successful with their phenomenal response. Excitement and word-of-wall has fueled enthusiasm for the unparalleled and powerful experience for old friends and colleagues to get together and rekindle a sense of interconnectedness. With every like and comment, connections are already being re-established. People are thrilled to meet past colleagues and acquaintances. From its frivolous conception, the unofficial reunion has leaped into the realms of anticipated exhilaration for all those who eagerly await its arrival. Virtually everyone at company sectors are abuzz with talk about the reunion.
The unofficial reunion embodies a more purposeful reason to be a part of the event. It has become the most sought-after event; people are captivated by the expanded idea it presents, their expectations are high and with all that is going into organizing it-the scrumptious food, ever flowing drinks and entertainment to liven their senses ,they will not be disappointed. 21st of July 2012 is all set to create a history. In all likelihood, the attendees will leave with new networks, friends and excitement for the next unofficial reunion. so where must you be headed? YEY OH YELL, but of course. any guesses what is YEY-OH-YELL?
