Kannada groups call for boycott of Rajni films

Bangalore, Apr 5 (PTI) Irked by comments of Rajnikant supporting the Hogenakkal water project, pro-Kannada groups today appealed to people for boycott of Tamil movies starring the superstar. "We will not allow screening of Rajnikant movies in Karnataka and also not allow him enter the state," Vatal Nagaraj, heading a conglomeration of the groups coming under the banner of the Karnataka Border Protection Committee, said here.

Rajnikant does not belong to Karnataka as he is a Maharashtrian, he said after the committee's meeting adding it was Karnataka which gave him shelter earlier. PTI.
