Priyanka wants desi touch to song's video

Mumbai, Sep 20 (IANS) Bollywood's 'desi girl' Priyanka Chopra is back in Los Angeles to work on the video of her debut international song "In my city" and says she wants to add an Indian touch to it.

"Off to rehearsal! Let's show the world what Bollywood is made of! Let's do this desi style," tweeted the 30-year-old, who is riding high on the response to her song, as well as to her acting in Anurag Basu's "Barfi!".

Her peppy song "In my city", featuring international singer Will.i.am, was launched earlier this month. Her entire album will release after a few months.

Meanwhile, she is working hard on the video, and basking in the positive reviews to her portrayal of autistic girl Jhilmil in "Barfi!".

KJo predicts golden run for 'Heroine'

Filmmaker Karan Johar is super impressed with Kareena Kapoor's act in "Heroine", and Madhur Bhandarkar's direction. He feels the movie will set the box office on fire, once it releases Friday.

"'Heroine' will have the cash registers ringing this weekend!!! Congratulations in advance Madhur," Johar wrote on Twitter.

The 40-year-old is all praise for Kareena, with whom he has worked in movies like "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" and "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu".

"Bebo is phenomenal in 'Heroine'!!! She owns, projects and understands the complexities of the protagonist to perfection," he added.

"Heroine" features Kareena as Mahi Arora, an actress, and the movie narrates the ups and downs in Mahi's life and career. The actress has earlier said it is her bravest role ever, and no wonder, expectations from the film are high.

The movie also features Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Divya Dutta.

Neil enjoys creating music

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who comes from a family of singers, is happy creating music these days and feels everyone should know how to play an instrument.

Grandson of singer Mukesh and son of Nitin Mukesh, the actor loves spending time on a keyboard.

"After a lovely start to Ganesh celebrations, back on my keyboard! Music... Creating music is another magic altogether," tweeted Neil.

"I personally feel that every individual should learn to play an instrument. Most relaxing! Gets an instant smile to my face or a tear of emotion," he added.

On the acting front, Neil is busy with his upcoming movies "Shortcut Romeo" and recently wrapped up the shooting of Bejoy Nambiar's "David".
