Yash Raj Films announces that Priyanka Chopra has joined the cast of GUNDAY as the leading lady, and will play a pivotal role in the film.Director Ali Abbas Zafar film will go on floor this December with his next YRF project, GUNDAY, after the successful MERE BROTHER KI DUKHAN, Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles.
Amidst the most turbulent times in the history of Kolkata, then Calcutta, from 1971 to 1988, Bikram and Bala rose from being small time wagon breakers and coal thieves to becoming the biggest and most powerful black marketing mafia-men. A rare combination of vigour and wit, the two were inseparable and the city of Calcutta swore by their friendship. As their notoriety became the stuff of legends, the people of this sprawling city started calling these two carefree rebels GUNDAY.
This is Priyanka's second film and both Ranveer and Arjun's third film with the banner and it is the first time that these three dynamic actors have come together
