London, May 3 (ANI): Prince Harry, who played the best man at his brother William's wedding last week, had a specially designed secret pocket sewn into his outfit to secure the wedding ring.
The prince is said to have requested the secret pocket because he was worried that with no pocket in his Blues and Royals military outfit, he might risk losing the ring during the journey from Clarence House to Westminster Abbey.
It is customary for the best man to carry the ring in his trouser or jacket pocket, but Harry's slim-line suit made this impossible.
Tailor Kashket and Partners, who made both Harry's and the Duke of Cambridge's wedding attire, as well as the page boys' outfits, were brought in to solve the problem and made a discreet pocket to hold the ring.
"The royal brothers wanted the day to run effortlessly smoothly and decided this would be the best option," The Scotsman quoted a spokesman for the tailor as saying. (ANI)
