Pranab, Sangma to file nominations for presidential polls on Thursday

New Delhi, June 27 (ANI): The United Progressive Alliance (UPA's) presidential candidate Pranab Mukherjee and the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA's) contestant P.A. Sangma will file their respective nominations for the presidential polls on Thursday.

Mukherjee will file his nomination papers at 11a.m. in the presence of senior UPA leaders, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, while Sangma is likely to be accompanied by senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy and senior lawmakers from the AIADMK, BJD and the SAD.
