    Polling begins for UP election's fourth phase

    Lucknow, Feb 19 (IANS) Polling for the fourth phase of Uttar Pradesh's staggered elections in 56 assembly seats began Sunday at 7 a.m.

    The total electorate numbering 17,414,545 (men 9,583,429, women 7,830,718 and others 398) will seal the fate of 967 candidates, including 91 women candidates, in the fray.

    The political parties contesting in this phase are Bahujan Samaj Party, Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress, Nationalist Congress Party, Samajwadi Party and others.

    The number of EVMs being used in this phase is 50,795, while the total number of polling stations is 18,609.

    The assembly constituency with maximum number of candidates is Pratapgarh with 32 in the fray while Salon with nine is the constituency with minimum number of candidates.

    Votes will be counted March 6, after the three remaining phases scheduled Feb 23, 28 and March 3.

      What ever the results can any party make a diffrence unless u people make your mentality clean. Gujrat, Kerala, Punjab, Maharastra, Andhra Pradesh all are developed since the people want to be prosperous. Party / leaders that explores good things in their people are much better than those making and exploiting bad out of them. Nothing will change unless we think with our brain not what parties/Leaders want us to think. Jai Hind

      Result will be identical to Bihar and Congress even failed to win in it's citadal Maharashtra. Let Schools to start teach it's students as " Once there was a political Party named Congress.". This can be included in GK book also.
