Veteran actor and wrestler Dara Singh passed away

Veteran actor and wrestler Dara Singh passed away in Mumbai on Thursday. The 83-year-old actor was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on July 7 following a cardiac arrest. His family shifted him home as his health continued to deteriorate.Dara Singh was Rajya Sabha member from 2003 to 2009.Singh started his career as a wrestler and went on to win the coveted Commonwealth Wrestling Champ way back in 1959.Dara Singh joined the Indian film industry in the 1960s, starring in movies like Tarzan and King Kong.
