      Gurunath Meiyappan, CEO of Chennai Super Kings is on his way to Mumbai to appear for questioning in the IPL spot-fixing scandal on Friday on the advice of his lawyers. Meiyappan was issued with summons to appear before the Mumbai crime branch on Friday for interrogation between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. According to reports, Meiyappan is involved in IPL betting since 2011. Earlier in the day, IPL chief Rajiv Shukla and BCCI vice-president, Arun Jaitley met India's law minister, requesting him to chart out a strong law against fixing and betting. Sports minister Jitendra Singh, while speaking to media persons in New Delhi said that the ongoing scam has shamed the country. less
