The 2012 London Olympic Games will see records being broken and new legends coming into the limelight. US vs China in the medal haul: The United States team took home 110 total medals at the 2008 Beijing Games but it was China that won the most golds with 51 while the US team went home with 36. Like in Beijing, these two countries are expected to battle it out to finish atop the medals table, and with talent flowing through their delegations, the fight could very well be decided on the last day of the Games.
