In a major setback for the Congress-led UPA Government, key ally the Trinamool Congress has withdrawn its support, and quit the Government today. TMC chief, and West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee announced the shocker, walking out of UPA II, slamming the Government over the recent stack of economic reforms, primarily FDI in Retail. hitting back at the UPA, Mamata said that even the basic respect was not given to TMC, from the ruling Government. Accusing Congress of unilateralism in decision making, Mamata further added that TMC ministers will submit their resignations on the coming Friday.
