It's a Celebration time for all of the people of Bengal as well as in India.

We will prove that, "What Bengal Thinks Today, India Thinks Tomorrow."

It is one of their fixed ideas that Bengal is their paternal property and they will do whatever they like decade after decade. But the fixed idea on contrary, the people of Bengal have, is that they cannot rule and never will be able to and they ought not to be allowed to try even in future. Those thousands and thousands who were killed, another thousands or in lacs who were mentally, physically, emotionally and financially tortured day after day only for the reason of not being committed to them are celebrating today either in heaven or here. So far the waxed rope, I will be happy to be entrusted with the charge and shall be more happy to execute it, obviously if Anil Babu is ready to put his neck inside that. Mr. Ex CM, remember Shakespeare! '... If u wrong us, shall we not revenge?'

Let us learn a simple thing from all this! Never underestimate an apparently weak opponent. Never be arrogant and don't encourage high-headedness. What we saw for the last 4-5 years -what can be achieved through a single-minded determinationm and desire. Didi you have become a role model for "Motivation, Determination and Goal setting"

As a member of the public, I thought it was my resposibility to express my opinion on this win of TMC & Congress Alliance over CPI(M) after a span of 34 yrs.

I am not any party member, and would like to call myself Apolitical. However, analyzing the trend of the current affairs, it all started with Nandigram..

No, it was not that people hadn't had discontent on the CPI(M) earlier.. Two biggest things that eroded in WB were Education and Health, during the last 34 years.. People did have grievances, but were afraid to express it openly.

Nandigram, Singur and Netai acted as catalysts, because it gave the impression to the people in Bengal that if a voice was raised against a Party, you lose your home, or you lose your life..

And if I may remind you, political awareness has been extremely high among the people in Bengal, since pre-independence..

Nandigram, Singur and Netai gave the impression that the freedom of expression of people in Bengal was at stake, and that was a dangerous thing.. Not only it gave more discontent, but gave rise to the idea of voicing the discontent at the place where it matters the most, at the Polling Booth..

I will not consider this as a landslide win for TMC, but a landslide win for the people of Bangal.. The results clearly indicates that it was NOT that people casted their votes in favour of their favourite candidates (Bratya Basu joined politics only as a protest against the killings in Nandigram, and not before that, Chiranjeet is known only as a Film Star, and not for his Political Views.. Satabdi Roy is just another example.. and they all won against political heavy-weights from CPIM).. This, I think, clearly indicates that people did not vote for the candidates, but voted AGAINST the Reds, because they thought their civil rights were at stake, and they NEEDED the "Paribartan"..

My Congratulations to Mamta Banerjee.. And I really wish that she tries her level best to improve the state of affairs in the state. I know it would be difficult for her to undo all wrongs done in the last 34 years..

Being a One Woman Army, it will be a challenge for her to oversee everything on her own, as there hasn't been any other "universally accepted" leader in TMC, and to sustain the position that TMC has today, they will really require a few..

It, however, sure is an end of an era of Corruption, of misrepresentation of Principle of Marx and Engels, an era of Terror and surely an era of Doltontro, where the party was above all, even humanity..

This is the 2nd independence day for the bengal.Thank you mamataji to give us freedom for red terrorism.they destroy work culture,make common man life miserable by poking their nose in every personal matter.Without any party dada , you cannot do anything. As a govt official ,I see in name of trade union,how they destroy work culture. now i Think Bengal will get back it's glory once again.

My congratulation and salute to Mamata di. She has proven that if a person ( Small or great ) is single-minded in his/ her objective, he/she can achieve the same overcoming any wretched obstacle or party machinery. When she started , she was a nobody. She had come from a very humble background and almost risked her life at times as a bet and even had to digest the taunts of his now-and-earlier coalition partners and from some of his party members ( who are now enjoying success through her effort ). Reds also had the audacity to ignore the writing on the wall till today.
I sincerely hope that it is not a Paribartan for the sake of it and it is a real paribartan in the state of affairs of West Bengal. Wish her best of luck.
