The 72-hour deadline given by the firebrand key ally of UPA government, the Trinamool Congress ends today. West Bengal chief minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee had served an ultimatum to the government to roll back fuel price hike, FDI in retail, failing which it has threatened to intensify its agitation and may pull out its ministers from the Government. The Trinamool Congress has outrightly rejected the government's step to open retail sector to foreign supermarkets in the country dubbing it as 'anti-people' move. Speaking to reporters in Kolkata TMC leader Sultan Ahmed expressed serious concern over the government's policies.
