      As the tension between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) escalates, Pakistani players signed up for the first Hockey India League are facing the heat. According to reports this could also affect the women's cricket World Cup. There have been protests in Mumbai by the Shiv Sena and in Delhi by an outfit called the Hindu Yuwak Sabha demanding that Pakistani hockey players not be allowed to play in India. Shiv Sena spokesperson, Sanjay Raut, today said that the party has banished the hockey players from Pakistan. However, slamming the Shiv Sena on this issue, as it is a close ally of BJP, Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi said that Shiv Sena should question Arun Jaitley as he is one of the board members of the Hockey India League. less
