    Pakistani folk singer dead

    Islamabad, Feb 20 (IANS) Pakistani folk singer Naseem Akhtar has died at the age of 55, a media report said Monday.

    Akhtar, who passed away in Punjab province Sunday, had sung a number of Punjabi and Urdu songs which were popular in the country, reported Geo News.

    Radio Pakistan head Murtaza Solangi paid tribute to her and termed her death as a great loss.
