Islamabad, Feb 15 (ANI): US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has said that Pakistani politicians don't want Americans to go away from their country.
Deep down, Pakistani politicians do not want Americans to go away, The News quoted Munter, as saying.
He said that the relationship between the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is still "cooperative."
"The CIA-ISI relationship is still cooperative. The Pakistani government realizes that we have a lot in common on counter-terrorism and we still have a decent relationship with the intelligence," The News quoted Munter, as saying.
However, he said that the situation might change when ISI chief General Ahmad Shuja Pasha announces his retirement. (ANI)
