Melbourne, October 8 (ANI): A major Aussie police department have named their codenamed operations after things appearing in the Star Wars series.
But Northern Territory police insist this was a coincidence, and the names - including Operation Jedi - were selected randomly by a computer.
Three other operations were named after miniature aliens.
A program to prevent them from going into Aboriginal communities was named after the Ewoks in the cult George Lucas films.
Jawa was the code name for a zero tolerance plan to fight alcohol fuelled crime.
And an investigation into an alleged homicide was called "Watto". In the films, he was a lumpy blue insect who ran a junkyard in the middle of no where. (ANI)
