Nobody makes me feel the way India does: Enrique Iglesias

New Delhi, Oct. 20 -- After a long wait, when Enrique entered the stage at Huda grounds, Gurgaon, twenty thousand people hollered their lungs out! It was as if they are never going to see the rockstar again. Maddening would be a perfect adjective to use.

Along with the sound of guitar, the Spanish sensation started his performance with a dance number I'm Loving You and the ground packed with thousands of fans suddenly turned into the most happening place I could ever be in. Everyone was swaying to the singer's songs at the concert.

His voice started to seduce the crowd when he moved to the next track Rhythm Divine and took our hearts away. Enrique Iglesias sang I'm Loving you, Bailamos, Escape, Dirty Dancing, Just Wanna Be With You", Baby I Like It, Hero among others.

Enrique charmed Delhi with his Hindi; the singer didn't forget to add a little bit of Hindi words in his cute Spanish accent in between his performance. As he called, "Namaste Delhi, aap kaise hain", the crowd went crazy at the venue.

Enrique Iglesias also added, "Main aapse pyaar karta hun, I love you India", to which people couldn't help responding. There was so much love in that one hour and half performance. So much so that the rockstar called a 12-year-old fan on stage and chatted with him for about fifteen minutes, he hugged a young girl and even sang Hero to her.

Enrique did everything he could possibly do to show his love for Delhi. The singer added a bit of glamour to the show, he changed his blue t-shirt to white and then wore a hood in the end, either ways he looked smoking hot. And throwing balloons also added to the drama.

His slow dance moments with the young fan on his most romantic number Hero was something to die for, I am sure everyone in that place would have been jealous (including me). Fans couldn't stop themselves from saying "Aww".

Although, Enrique kept the Hero number at the very last, he started to croon the track after a lot of demand. And when he did, it was magic. He announced to the crowd, "This one is especially for Delhi".

So guys, wouldn't you agree he indeed is our hero?

Enrique is in Delhi

Fans can hold their breath as Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias has arrived in India for his multi-city tour. He landed in Pune on Tuesday evening by a private flight from Los Angeles.

The 36-year old music sensation was seen happily posing for the shutterbugs as he arrived at the airport. "It feels great to be back in India. The last time I was here was in 2004, so it's been many years but I'm happy to be here," he said at the airport.

After his maiden performance in Pune yesterday, he will be performing in Delhi for the first time tomorrow, followed by Bangalore on October 21. "I had to fly for 22 hours and right now I am going to try and get some rest at the hotel. I want to walk around the city and try some good food and have a great show. I want to thank everyone for all the support; all the fans in India and radio stations playing my songs," he added.

His crew arrived a day before he did, to set up for his first gig in Pune. It seems that Enrique's crew is as adventurous and also looking forward to eating some Indian food. For the first stop on their week long itinerary, the crew had requested some typical Maharashtrian food that Pune is known for, along with other Indian dishes. On the menu for them was Misal with Pav, Bharli Bangi, Maharashtrian Style Chicken Curry, Phulka and Vada Pav.

Enrique will be flying to Delhi today. Who knows if he has plans to feast on some Old Delhi chaat and butter chicken in the city!FULL STORY
