Bangalore, Feb 10 (ANI): Union Corporate Affairs Minister M Veerappa Moily on Friday said the ministers' porn issue was ill fated for any political party of the country.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the India Corporate and Investor Meet in Bangalore, Moily said the actions of the ministers, belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), as insensitive.
"The BJP cannot afford to be insensitive towards these public issues of morality, issues of indecency and practiced in the highest podium of democratic mainly the legislature. They should have been more apologetic and if they are not apologetic that means they only want to perpetuate that kind of culture. This is most unfortunate for any public and unfortunate for any political party," said Moily.
Cooperation Minister Laxman Savadi was caught watching the video clip on February 7 with Women and Child Development Minister CC Patil and Science and Technology Minister Krishna Palemar while the assembly session was in progress.
Following the incident, all three ministers stepped down from their posts on the same day. (ANI)
