Missing minor found murdered in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 24 (IANS) A 10-year-old boy was found murdered here Wednesday, three days after he went missing, police said.

Shafikul, a resident of east Delhi's New Usmanpur area was missing since Oct 21. Police suspect that he was sodomised before being strangulated to death.

His body was found at a deserted place half-naked in the same locality.

"He had gone missing from outside his house Oct 21. A case of kidnapping was registered at New Usmanpur police station Oct 22," said a police officer.
