New Delhi, Oct. 29: The list of cabinet ministers, which disappeared from the PMO website a few months ago following a controversy over who was "No. 2", returned today.
The new list shows defence minister A.K. Antony at No. 2 and agriculture minister Sharad Pawar at No. 3.
The earlier list was removed in July after Pawar's NCP had objected to his "downgrade". It had presumed that Pawar was No. 2 as he sat next to the Prime Minister at the first cabinet meeting after Pranab Mukherjee's exit. The seating arrangement was changed in the next meeting, triggering a row.
The PMO and the cabinet secretariat then removed the list from their official websites. The cabinet secretariat's website still does not show the list but the PMO declared the Prime Minister's team today.
