Mena Suvari officially ends marriage

Melbourne, Oct 2 (ANI): Mena Suvari's marriage to concert promoter Simone Sestito was officially dissolved on Monday, ten months after she filed for divorce from him.

The 33-year-old actress filed for divorce from Sestito in January, this year.

The estranged couple separated in November 2011 after only 16 months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, News.com.au reported.

Initially, the 25-year-old husband reportedly pleaded for the sum of 17,151 dollars a month to cover his living expenses as part of his divorce settlement from the 'American Beauty' star.

Apparently, the couple eventually waived their rights to spousal support.

Suvari and Sestito got married in a private church in Vatican City, Italy in the summer of 2010.

The former couple do not share any kids.

This is Suvari's second marriage after getting married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann in 2000, whom she divorced in 2005. (ANI)
