Bangalore, Oct 5 (IANS) The Narcotics Control Bureau said Friday it had seized around five kg of heroin valued at Rs.5 crore from four people in Tirupati town in Andhra Pradesh.
"The contraband was meant for distribution in Bangalore. Investigations are underway," the bureau said in a statement here.
The accused were arrested and brought here for interrogation, police said. Tirupati is located about 250 km from here.
