Khurshid cancels Haj visit in anticipation of cabinet reshuffle

New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Minorities affairs and law minister Salman Khurshid has cancelled a Haj pilgrimage to stay back in the country amidst widespread speculation about the long awaited cabinet reshuffle, which could take place later this week. Khurshid was scheduled to leave for the Haj as head of India's official delegation but decided not to go, sources close to him confirmed. The Uttar Pradesh government is currently probing Khurshid's role in misappropriation of funds by his wife's trust.Published by HT Syndication with permission from Hindustan Times.
