New Delhi, Oct.22 (ANI): India Against Corruption crusader Arvind Kejriwal sat on a protest outside the office of the Bombay Suburban Electric Supply(BSES) here, supporting its employees in their agitation against the management on Monday.
He had earlier been protesting against the rising electricity prices in the national capital.
On October 6, demanding an immediate roll back, supporters of Kejriwal protested against hike in electricity tariff.
The activists had marched towards the BSES headquarters in New Delhi, and shouted anti-government slogans.
India's electricity distribution and transmission is mostly state run, with private companies operating in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Less than a quarter of generation is private nationwide.

Recently Kejriwal had restored electricity connection of daily wager worker after it was disconnected due non-payment of the inflated bill.
Kejriwal had urged people to burn inflated electricity bills and asked them not to pay them.
Magsaysay Award winner Kejriwal's proposal to form a political party and enter the electoral fray did result in the split of India Against Corruption, the forum under which he and renowned social activist Anna Hazare along with like-minded associates had undertaken nationwide crusade against graft and nepotism in public life.
To this end, they had demanded the federal government to enact the Lokpal (ombudsman) Bill with extensive powers. (ANI)
