Katy Perry goes on soul-searching quest

London, Sept 20 (ANI): Katy Perry has decided to put her love life behind following her divorce from Russell Brand, and instead concentrate on achieving spiritual happiness.

Elizabeth Gilbert's post-divorce memoir 'Eat, Pray, Love' inspired the 27-year-old singer to embark on a soul-searching quest, which she started by climbing a volcano, the Daily Mail reported.

The 'Califonia Gurls' hitmaker tweeted a picture of herself atop a volcano on Wednesday morning, along with the caption: "I ate, I prayed, I climbed a volcano."

The photograph features her in an unknown location, with her arms spread out to the side, wearing leggings, a hooded sweatshirt and a backpack, while taking in the sights.

The brunette pop star had earlier posted on her Twitter account, about getting in touch with her spiritual side with meditation and cleansing her "chakras."

"Getting some s**t out my chakra's! #eloquent (sic)," she tweeted. (ANI)
