By Abid, Glamsham EditorialWith just a couple of days left for the release of her latest film HEROINE, leading lady Kareena Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to see to it that it gets a good opening at the ticket window and so has thrown herself wholeheartedly into the promotion of the Madhur Bhandarkar directed flick.
While talking to the vernacular press recently Kareena spoke at length about HEROINE, and when queried by the fourth estate also explained how HEROINE is different from Madhur's last runway hit, FASHION, which saw Priyanka Chopra bagging the prestigious National Award for best actress. Answered Kareena, "Some people may feel and some are even saying that that the story of HEROINE appears similar to FASHION, but that is not true. HEROINE is quite different from FASHION. In HEROINE, one can see from the first shot itself that the story revolves around a super star. The lead protagonist of HEROINE, Mahi Arora, is a super star right from the first frame while in FASHION, the lead actress struggles her way to the top."
Well, Kareena has rightly explained the difference between the two films, we hope for Kareena and her fans that the fate of the two films is similar and that HEROINE receives as warm a welcome from the cinegoers as FASHION and Kareena receives the accolades and awards, very much like her colleague Priyanka Chopra!
