India, Oct. 17 -- Senior lawyer and BJP leader Ram Jethmalani has in a letter to BJP president Nitin Gadkari said that Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi should be appointed as party's Prime Ministerial candidate, according to media reports. Backing Modi, Jethmalani has said that he is BJP's best choice for the post of Prime Minister.
It has also been reported in the media, that Jethmalani has said that he will support India Against Corruption leader Arvind Kejriwal if he gives credible evidence of irregularities against Gadkari. Jethmalani may also ask for BJP president's resignation in such a case.
Meanwhile, Gadkari has said that he had not got any such letter, according to reports.
