Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray has suggested the cricket authorities that if they want to cheer the cricketers then it is better to have a 'Bhangra' rather than the cheerleadergirls.
In an informal talk with the reporters in Mumbai on Monday night, Thackeray said, "Why have cheergirls when Bhangra serves the same purpose in a better way?"
Also, to Sharad Pawar, who is Agriculture Minister and BCCI President, Uddhav said he should "concentrate on farmers' plight the way he does on cricket."
Regarding infighting within BJP, Thackeray said, "The party is recovering and I personally had a talk with both Gopinath Munde and Nitin Gadkari."
