Indian eatery owner buys jet to deliver food

London, Jan 27 (IANS) The owner of an Indian restaurant in Britain has bought a fighter jet to deliver his food to celebrity clients across the world.

Rob Abdul, 40, who runs the Cafe Taj restaurant in Gravesend, Kent, bought the now abandoned Iraqi warplane with a pilot friend, and has spent 35,000 pounds ($55,000) restoring it.

"One thing you cannot do as a businessman is disappoint your customers. I regularly get requests from around the world," Abdul was quoted as saying by the Daily Express.

Abdul has previously sent food from his restaurant to the England cricket team on tour to Australia.

to all with saddistic comments....what have you done so far for these poor and needy people who are starving to death all over world, instead of putting in your comments for someone who is expanding his business with quick delivery of food around the world, do something practical....THINK & LEAP!!!

Everyone who is supporting this, i need to ask you one question. Do ANY of you know how EXPENSIVE jet fuel is ?!?!?! That money could easily be donated to the poor or to fight world hunger.

Yes it is correct. It is good to have such things but we are humans and we have brains. so we should think about poor and needy people who are really everyday struggeling to get food. People are spending money on unnecessary things. it is really a pain for a real human being.

Why are everybody crying for serving the poor ? Just think. The customer will be a rich man who pays for the food brought in by a fighter plane. Ask that rich man to serve the poor - go to Africa and all that. Why is everybody blaming the businessman ? Great idea for which he has market. If a businessman prospers, would you cry foul ???

      Wrongly placed feelings and priorities.

As some have said it may also be called a waste. BUT if everyone has a similar commitment to his own job or profession, then the world will be a better place to live: Not just for you and me, but also for all those at the lower end today whom these people have written in support of: Because our work commitment will exactly get that as per God's rules!
