Mumbai: Her love-struck character worships Rajnikanth's in Sivaji , now see her real devout avatar.

Actress Shreya Saran is a Ganpati devotee. So when as you enter her house for the traditional puja, the overwhelming presence of the Elephant-God strikes you right from the beginning.

Ganpati puja is a family affair for Shreya and her near and dear ones. So joining in the prayer are her mother and her three-month-old nephew Dhruv.

"I am first of all a dancer and whenever I take to the stage, the one God I worship is Lord Ganpati everytime around. He blesses me as an artist with a sense of religion,” says Shreya.

She follows the traditional five-day Ganpati in her house for two years now. An avid collector of varied statuettes, Shreya attributes her recent success in south-Indian cinema to Lord Ganesha.

Now making steady inroads in Bollywood, she will be flying off to Hyderabad to start work on one of her many film projects.

"I have signed Mission Istanbul in Hindi and down south I am doing films with Vikram and Surya,” says Shreya.

We will hope too that the Lord of art and music keeps the bounty for this pretty devotee always!
