Huge blast in Colombo

Colombo, May 16 (IANS) A huge bomb exploded in the heart of the Sri Lankan capital Friday, residents said.

The blast occurred in the city's commercial district, apparently targeted at a police bus. Casualties were evacuated to a hospital, witnesses said.
