Berlin, May 8 (Xinhua) Beijing: The world's biggest aircraft, A380, will be operated on one of the three regular flights from Singapore to Beijing during the first week of August to meet the expected passenger surge during the Olympics. A total of 5.56 million people are expected to arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport during the Games.
From Aug 2 to 8, the A380 flight will leave Singapore at 8:30 a.m. and reach Beijing at 2:40 p.m., according to the Singapore Airlines Beijing Office. The return flight will take off from Beijing at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Singapore at 11:20 p.m. Singapore Airlines is the first and the only carrier that operates the A380. It operates the aircraft from Singapore to Sydney and London.
