BHUBANESWAR: The nuclear-capable Agni-IV missile was tested from a defence base in Odisha Wednesday, official sources said.
The 4,000-km-range surface-to-surface missile was tested from a launch pad at Wheeler Island near Dhamra in Bhadrak district, which is 112 km from here, official sources said.
This was the third trial of Agni-IV. The two-stage solid fuel propelled missile is lighter than Agni-III because of the composite rocket motor casings.
The missile is designed to carry a payload of 1,000 kg. Its re-entry vehicle is equipped with heat shield to enable the payload withstand searing temperatures of more than 3,000 degrees Celsius.
Cruiser motorcycles might not be very popular in India, but there is still a segment of buyers who prefer to buy these body style of bikes. While there is little option at the lower end of the segment, at high price brackets there are quite a few alternatives. Earlier this year, DSK Motowheels launched the Hyosung GV650 Aquila Pro, which offers quite a lot to the cruiser enthusiast. Priced at Rs. 5.46 lakhs (Mumbai), the GV650 is significant value.
