During cross examination Thursday, lawyers defending Rana challenged Headley about what evidence he had of his ISI handler, known as Major Iqbal, who provided guidance during Headley's surveillance work in Mumbai.

David Headley, testifying about the planning of the 2008 Pakistani militant raid on Mumbai, said on Thursday he may have been wrong to divulge the plot to his friend and accused co-conspirator, a Pakistan-born Chicago businessman.

David Headley, under questioning from a lawyer for defendant Tahawwur Rana, admitted that by sharing the Mumbai attack plan with Rana he violated the espionage training he received from Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence directorate (ISI) and Lashkar-e-Taiba, the militant group blamed in the raid that killed 160 people.

The trial is being watched closely for clues of Pakistani government involvement in the attack that could heighten U.S.-Pakistani tensions following the American killing of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.

Defense lawyer Charles Swift, who says Rana was duped by Headley and was unaware of the Mumbai plot, challenged Headley about what evidence he had of his ISI contact, known as Major Iqbal, who provided guidance during Headley's surveillance work in Mumbai.

"You can't even identify him, or find him?" Swift asked, to which Headley agreed.

Headley testified this week that ISI and elements of Pakistan's military -- namely a retired army major he knew as "Pasha" -- coordinated Lashkar's attacks.

This is about Ms.Krittikka Biswas's arrest and release in New York, recently. We all think that the U.S is a country of discipline and every thing is as per law. These stories like Krittikka's,check-ups for our diplomats, removal of Dubans at the airport in some cases involving sikhs, frisking of our indian diplomats and subsequent 'sorry' from the concerned are forcing me to think that the U.S is not a developed country, which believes in human rights and individual rights. They have racial feelings and double standards to treat people differently.Every thing looks green from distance and when you go near,it stinks and stings. In Krittikka's case, she was not given diplomatic immunity,as per Vienna convention. In the name of conventions, bring several countries under one umbrella and make them sign for certain order and the U.S does not bother about the rules to be followed under the convention.Very funny. The guilty in the case of Krittika's case, was not even arrested for his crime. The police extracted an apology from the guilty and has been let off.On the contrary,Krittika was hand-cuffed very tightly, after her arrest on suspicion. What way is it justified? What is the mistake committed by Krittikka? Being An indian Diplomat's daughter is a mistake? If it is the treatment to our Diplomats and their children, what would be the plight of a common boy/girl doing some studies there? Is the U.S a free country?Does it respect people of other countries? What is the difference between Libya and the U.S?what is the big difference between the U.S and Pakistan? It is a lesson for those who think only about the U.S for money and hifi life style. It is a big lesson for some parents who insist on children studying only in the U.S.They have to pay for their thinking and greediness. In general, people never like outsiders in their country and the U.S is no exception. The U.S is the worst hipocrat in the world and go to any extent for power and control.
