'Hyundai ICC Fan Park' brings World Twenty20 action live for cricket fans

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter today announced the live screening of all the ICC World Twenty20 matches for the cricket fans starting from Sep 18, 2012 to the final on Oct 7, 2012 at the ‘Hyundai ICC Fan Park’. The live screening will be held in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad where cricket enthusiasts will have an opportunity to watch all the matches of the ICC World Twenty20 on giant screens in an exciting and a fun-filled environment.

The Hyundai ICC Fan Park will be held at the malls in Delhi NCR- Select City Walk, Ambience Mall and Great India Place, in Mumbai: Phoenix Mall, in Chennai: Express Avenue, in Bangalore: Value Forum and Prasad Mall in Hyderabad. The participants will be given a chance to hold the virtual T20 trophy at all the Fan Parks through Augmented Reality. The picture with the trophy will be shared on the participant’s Facebook page. A number of exciting games and quizzes will be held along with scores of prizes to be won. A special cricket anthem, ‘Fans of Brilliance’ sung by the famous playback singer Shaan celebrating the spirit of the game and the passion of its fans will be on air from tomorrow.

A special microsite (www.hyundaifob.com) has been developed for the entire World Cup tournament. The microsite will also give a chance to test drive the Hyundai cars and become eligible for the Hyundai XI contest. The 11 lucky winners will win a chance to go to Sri Lanka and watch the World Cup match. Also the visitor can share the brilliant moments of the matches and win exciting prizes. The microsite has links to Hyundai’s presence in the social media like Facebook, YouTube etc.
