Mumbai, Oct. 10 -- Huawei India president Eric Yu dismissed security concerns raised by a US Congressional intelligence committee on whether Chinese telecommunication companies can be trusted with access to critical infrastructure.
The committe had advised American companies not to seek the services of, or do business with, Chinese telecom giants Huawei and ZTE.
"We follow regulations, whether in US or India," Yu said, on the sidelines of the launch of its cloud infrastructure, data centre and advanced WLAN access solutions for Indian companies. "If there are more regulations in India we will be most co-operative."
Yu said his company is targeting 500 customers from India this year and 1,000 next year.
