Washington, Oct. 4 (ANI): The first 2012 presidential debate at Denver, with President Barack Obama facing off against Republican challenger Mitt Romney, was viewed by a host of Hollywood stars that included Lady Gaga, Shaq O Neil and Jenna Jameson.
Stars later expressed their view on the debate on micro blogging site Twitter with some supporting the president, while others Romney. Here a look at what some stars said.
"I believe its important to note before this begins that Romney is a millionaire and paid well below the average tax rate, paying only 13.9%," Lady Gaga wrote.
"What is that F-----n' Look on Mitt's face?! Half grin, half smirk, All Fear! WTF!" Politico quoted actor Samuel L Jackson, as writing on Twitter.
"Wow! How many times are the candidates going to mention my father this debate?!? What an honor! #debate #Romney #Obama," Ivanka Trump, who is an American businesswoman and daughter of American business magnate Donald Trump, wrote.
"As a big job creator, I was greatly honored to have been mentioned twice tonight during the debate," Donald Trump wrote.
"Crap i just turned on debates. Which guy is prez and which guy is Romney. Everything will make more sense. #debates," actor and comedian David Spade wrote.
"i can't believe i'm saying this, but Obama looks like he DOES need a teleprompter," stand-up comedian Bill Maher wrote on the micro blogging site.
"Get em @MittRomney !!!!!! You are the best!" Jenna Jameson, American entrepreneur and former pornographic actress, wrote.
"I'm in New Zealand watching the presidential debate! Obama is killing it on health care! #Obama2012," Eva Longoria wrote.
"Mitt has Republican good looks" Sarah Silverman wrote.
