One might wonder why Prajakta Shukre of Indian Idol hasn't been doing well on Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar. First, she fumbled while singing and then she was down with a sore throat.
But apparently, the real reason behind her poor performances is heartbreak. The singer was rumoured to have come close to co-contestant Rahul Vaidya during the first season of Indian Idol.
Vaidya is recently said to have called it quits because he felt his relationship with Shukre would hamper his 'lover-boy' image. A source says that Shukre's parents had met and approved of Vaidya and were shattered by the break-up.
While Shukre is hoping they will get back together, Vaidya seems pretty firm about his decision. On the sets, Vaidya maintains a cordial relationship with Shukre but keeps his distance.
Today's leading ladies of Hollywood are getting lucrative paychecks, taking together their movie offerings, endorsements, television and fashion deals.
