The acceleration time of the car was an average of two runs made in opposite directions within one hour during the tests.

According to the super car's founder and president, John Hennessey, the speed test is just the beginning of several validation tests designed to show that their car is the fastest in the world.

GWR representative Philip Robertson witnessed the runs and made all necessary inspections for the speed test.

Hennessey plans to build a total of 29 Venom GTs, with one-third of the production run already being sold.

The Venom GT, which costs 1.2 million US dollars, is custom built to order and requires six months for completion.
