Girl commits suicide at Delhi Metro station

New Delhi, Sep 5 (IANS) A 19-year-old girl committed suicide Wednesday at a Metro station in the national capital, police said.

According to police, Asha Sharma, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar in south Delhi jumped from the platform of the Pragati Maidan Metro station at around around 5.25 p.m. in the evening.

She was taken to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.

Police said that they had not found any suicide note from her possession.
