    Giggs' dad thanked Stacy for giving him 'such a beautiful grand-daughter'

    London, Jan 23 (ANI): Ryan Giggs' father, Danny Wilson, is said to have made a 300-mile dash to see his first grandchild.

    The former rugby player drove through the night from Cardiff to the maternity unit in Salford, Greater Manchester, the Daily Star reported.

    After seeing baby Liberty in an incubator he thanked the footballer's wife Stacey, 32, for giving him "such a beautiful grand-daughter" then he drove straight home.

    Wilson, who has only seen Liberty once more in the eight years since then, has never set eyes on their other child Zach, five. (ANI)
