Mumbai, July 6 -- The reports claiming that Bollywood starlet Laila Khan has been murdered have come as a shock to her friends and family. Nadir Patel, Khan's father, said: "It seems like the job of Pervez Tak [Laila mother's boyfriend] and Asif Shaikh [her stepfather]. I had warned Celina [Laila's mother] to stay away from them. Tak even got a forged PAN card using my name. The crime branch should conduct a probe into the case."
Patel had lodged a complaint against the duo at the Oshiwara police station on Wednesday.
Rakesh Sawant, brother of actor Rakhi Sawant who launched Khan in the film 'Wafaa', has demanded a probe by the CBI. "Laila was doing well in films. No one leaves a good career all of a sudden," he said.
Since her disappearance, Sawant has been visiting various police agencies demanding a probe into the incident. "The claims that Khan and her five family members went to Pakistan are not true as there is no such entry with any airlines."
