Faf to lead vs NZ

Calcutta: Faf Du Plessis' impressive international career gained fresh momentum on Thursday when Cricket South Africa (CSA) named him as captain of the Proteas squad for the three-match T20 international series against New Zealand later this month, according to a media release .

The squad: Faf du Plessis (capt), Farhaan Behardien, Henry Davids, Quinton de Kock, AB de Villiers, Rory Kleinveldt, Richard Levi, David Miller, Morne Morkel, Chris Morris, Wayne Parnell, Robin Peterson, Aaron Phangiso, Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe.

Calcutta: The second ODI between India and Pakistan, which is scheduled at Eden Gardens on January 3, might start from noon instead of 2.30 pm in order to negate the dew factor. The BCCI will decide on it shortly, said a senior CAB official.
