Elvis Presley's former Beverly Hills house up for grabs at $12.9 mln

London, Oct 13 (ANI): Elvis and Priscilla Presley's marital home has been put up for sale this week for a staggering price of $12.9 million.

The couple bought the home in 1967, nine years after it was built, and sold it six years later for half a million dollars on August 31, 1973, just before the couple's divorce was final, the Daily Mail reported.

The couple's first and only child, Lisa Marie Presley, was born one year after the couple bought the estate that features a pool and spa in the backyard.

The sprawling four-bedroom, five-bathroom home was previously up for lease at 25,000 dollars per month.

The master bedroom has a floor-to-ceiling mirror along one wall and the study is lined with built-in bookshelves.

The house has many windows and french doors.

The French Regency estate has attracted many fans, who want to pay homage to the rock and roll king.

The 5,367-square-foot home sits on a 1.18 acre-plot and its many floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the city of Los Angeles as well as the Pacific Ocean.

The house was recently remodelled for including a new kitchen and laundry room, as well as an updated pool and spa. (ANI)
